The Website at www.working-bees.com is owned, operated and controlled by The Blue Bee Corporation Limited (Company Number: 07045475) a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2006 whose registered office is at 67 Chorley Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire, England BL1 3AJ or at such other place as stated from time to time on the public record maintained by the Registrar of Companies of England and Wales. The Blue Bee Corporation Limited is registered with HM Revenue & Customs for VAT with number 985 2828 69.

 
Working-Bees Terms and Conditions apply to a person who accesses and uses any part of the Website and/or who submits an Application to become a registered user of the Website and to Services supplied. If you do not become a registered user your use of the Website will be limited and you will not be entitled to be supplied with the Services.

 
This is the Privacy Policy referred to in and to be read in conjunction with Working-Bees Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise stated words and expressions used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings given to them in the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions.

 
1. Information that we collect and store

The Website is a form of people directory and networking website to permit registered users to provide Documents and other information about themselves and to receive Documents and other information about other registered users for the purposes of developing, maintaining and enhancing a network of professional and business contacts. If you have any hesitation about providing such Documents or other information to us and/or having such Documents or other information displayed on the Website or used in the supply of the Services or otherwise used in any manner permitted by the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, you should not become a registered user of the Website and/or use the Services.

You are free to browse our Website without being a registered user and use it for limited purposes without applying to become a registered user and connected to that not providing personal data or other information to us except from cookies and certain other technologies and from the Internet automatically when you visit the Website subject as provided below.

It is your responsibility to provide true, complete and accurate Documents and other information in accordance with the Contract, to confirm that you are authorised to supply or make available such Documents and other information and to notify us of any changes to the Documents and other information supplied or made available.

You should not supply or make available any personal data or other personally identifiable information except in accordance with the Contract.

Except as required by law or agreed in writing we have no obligation to verify, monitor or update your Documents or your personal data or other information supplied or made available by you and we are not responsible or liable for your Documents or other information supplied or made available by you or another registered user or other third party.

We collect information (in relation to you if you apply to become and are accepted as a registered user only and not merely if you browse the Website save as otherwise stated):

-           When we ask you to complete and submit an Application on the Website to become a registered user. We ask that you provide your name, your e-mail address and such other information prescribed by the Application.

-           When we ask you to confirm the type of Account you want, either a Basic Account or Premium Account and in the case of a Premium Account if you want an Expert Account or a Master Account, and if you confirm in writing that you want a Basic Account or do not confirm in writing that you want a Premium Account you will be set up with a Basic Account. You may also subsequently use the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) give notice to us to change the type of Account in accordance with the Contract.

-           When we ask you to confirm the e-mail address and the password you have chosen to sign in to use your Account to enable you to access the Website and/or to be entitled to Services. You may subsequently change your password.

-           When we invite you to complete your online profile on the Website and you provide information to             complete the relevant fields on the profile about yourself. You may subsequently change your online profile and the information supplied.

-           When you use the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) give    notice to us that you want to subscribe for additional services beyond those to which   you are entitled by virtue of the type of Account and we agree to supply.

            We also may ask for information connected to your subscription For instance, in   relation to Mobile Services we ask for your mobile device telephone number.

-           When we ask you to pay the Charges and other sums under the Contract and in particular when we direct you to the RBS Worldpay website or such other website designated by us for payment purposes. Payments are to be made by your own personal credit or debit card or other agreed payment method. A record of your payment details is kept. For instance, if you pay by card a record is kept of the type of credit or debit card, card provider, card number, card holder and expiry date.

-           When we require you to use the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) to give notice to us under the Contract of certain events or circumstances including changes to your subscription and payment details. We invite you to update your profile and/or Account and subscription and payment details.

-           When we ask you to provide evidence of your identity or other information about you, data protection and legal requirements compliance and insurance and other information under the Contract.

-           When we carry out any check or search on you as confirmed in writing. This may include an identity and/or postcode check or a credit check on you using a third party search agent or credit reference agency or software made available to us.

-           We use cookies and certain other technologies to recognise you and obtain certain information about you.

-           We automatically receive information from your use of the Internet such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the Internet), the URLs of websites from which you arrive or leave the Website, your computer operating system and type of web browser, e-mail patterns and your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

 

We collect your personal information in the following ways:

 

Registration and Account Information

In order to become a registered user, you must first complete and submit your Application online using the prescribed form on the Website and confirm in writing the type of Account. You must also confirm your e-mail address and password to enable you to sign in to your Account. The information you are asked to submit in your Application is shown in the current version of the Application on the Website.

 

Online Profile Information

Once you become a registered user, you may provide additional information in

your online profile to be visible on the Website. The fields in the profile you are asked to complete are shown in the current version of profile format on the Website. Profile completion is at your option.

You may choose to manually enter or upload data and other information about you and/or the services that you offer or require in accordance with the Contract. This may include factual information and recommendations, comments or advice.

 

Contacts Information

The Website is intended to be used by you to develop, enhance and build a network of professional and business contacts. If a person is already a registered user then you may send an electronic message using the Website, for example, to invite such other registered user to connect with you and/or become a member of your network. If a person you know is not a registered user then you may enter such persons name and e-mail address on the Website confirming how you know that person and send an electronic message using the Website to invite such third party to apply to register and set up an Account. You may also in your invitation in accordance with the Contract include text of a message for the recipient.

This information will be used by us to send your invitation including the text of any message that you write. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your invitation and reminders.

You may choose to manually enter or upload data and other information about your contacts and/or the services that they offer or require in accordance with the Contract. This may include factual information and recommendations, comments or advice.

 

Service Subscription and Payment Information

We will confirm to you the Services to which you are entitled by virtue of the type of Account and any changes in accordance with the Contract. We will also confirm to you the additional services which you may subscribe to but you are not obliged to do so. In connection with your subscription we will confirm the Charges and other sums payable.

You may use the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) give notice to us from time to time that you want to change to a Basic Account or to a Premium Account or (as the case may be) to a Premium Account of a different type and/or subscribe for additional services in accordance with the Contract.

We hold a record of your Account and subscription and payment details. We may ask for information connected to subscription for Services to which you are entitled by virtue of the type of Account or in respect of those additional services you have notified to us that you want to subscribe for. This is to ensure we know and can supply to requirements. See above example on Mobile Services.

When we ask you to pay for the Services we will direct you to the RBS Worldpay website or other website designated by us for payment purposes unless otherwise stated in the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions. You will be required to provide details for payment to be taken and processed by your payment method. The payment method will be your own personal credit or debit card unless otherwise agreed in writing by us. Payment details needed with regard to payment by your credit or debit card are summarised above.

We hold a record of your payment method and payment details connected to your subscription and use of the agreed payment method. Your payment method is used to take and process payment of the Charges and other sums. Payments may be taken and processed without any further or renewal of authority.

 

Identity Verification and Information Requests

We may ask you to provide evidence of identity and other information about you, data protection and other legal requirements compliance and insurance and other information under the Contract.

We also ask that you use the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) give notice to us under the Contract of certain events or circumstances including changes to your subscription and payment details.

We may consider it appropriate to engage a third party or use software to carry out a check and/or search on you. We will confirm to you the checks and searches we intend, the purpose of any such check or search and any fees payable by you.

This information will assist us with the set up and operation of your Account. It will also assist us to consider our respective rights and obligations connected to your use of the Website and the Services. In particular holding correct subscription and payment details enables us to know and supply to your requirements and maintain and improve on our customer service.

 

Information Updates and Communication

We invite you to update your profile and/or Account and subscription and payment details.

You can do this using the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) by notice under the Contract from you. In particular you can change your Account and your subscription and payment details and check your Account and subscription and payment details and if you want subscribe for additional services. Using the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) you can give notice to us to update your details to reflect.

If we send a communication to you we will do so by first class post, facsimile, e-mail or other agreed communication method. This may include placing notices on the Website or contacting you using other electronic means including text messaging and other forms of messaging. It is imperative we have correct and up to date contact details as part of your subscription and payment details so that you receive information intended for you and you can make payment of the Charges and other sums.

 

Cookies

The Website uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file which resides on the hard drive of your computer.  Certain permanent cookies allow the Website to recognise you as a registered user when you return to the Website using the same computer and web browser so that you do not need to complete an Application again and can sign in to use your Account. Other cookies such as session cookies provide information about you and/or your use of the Website and supply of the Services.

Cookies enable us to maintain and improve on our customer service. We may allow authorised third parties to place or recognize a cookie on your browser for such purposes.

Most browsers are set up to accept cookies. Unfortunately, if your browser settings do not allow cookies or you opt to refuse all cookies, you may not be able to use the Website or be supplied with Services and in particular online services using the Website.

We do not store personal data or other personally identifiable information in the cookies or allow such authorised third parties to receive such data or information using cookies.

This information is used to analyse overall trends and in particular to help us to maintain and improve our customer service.

Please note that in providing information to us, and in particular for the purposes of becoming a registered user and having set up an Account to use the Website and be entitled to be supplied with Services, you do so subject to the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise stated the supply or making available of information is voluntary and optional and this includes personal data and other personally identifiable information and in particular any such information which would be deemed sensitive data under the Data Protection Act 1998.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to us receiving, possessing, processing or otherwise using and disclosing personal data or other information supplied or made available in accordance with the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy by giving notice to us. Please note that your withdrawal of consent will not be retroactive and may prevent or restrict you from using the Website and supply of the Services to you.

We may by law be entitled to receive, possess, process or otherwise use and disclose certain information without your consent (including if you do not give or withdraw consent). We may also continue to do so after cancellation, termination or expiry of the Contract.

 

Rights to Access, Correct and Eliminate Information About You

You have a right to access, modify, correct and eliminate personal data about you and other information supplied or made available by you pursuant to your decision to become a registered user and can do so either using the Website or (if the facility on the Website is not available) by giving notice to us. Please note that if you exercise your right to do so this may prevent or restrict you from using the Website and supply of the Services to you. Please also note that the exercise of such right must be strictly in accordance with the Contract.


We may also in accordance with the Contract modify or delete data or other information.

 
If you or we update any of your personal data or other information supplied or made available by you, we may keep a copy of the data or other information which you originally provided to us in our archives for permitted purposes set out or referred to in the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.

 

2. How we use this information

We use the information you provide to:

-           Consider and process your Application to become a registered user and to set up and administer your Account, your subscription details and payment details.

-           To take payment for and allow you to use the Website and be supplied with the Services and to customise your use of the Website and the supply of the Services.

-           To send communications as part of your use of the Website and of the Services and also to send you communications concerning your use of the Website and of the Services and/or other service information and to request information from you;

-           To contact you for promotional, marketing and advertising purposes in respect of the Website and the Services; to inform you of any additional services which you may wish to subscribe to and/or provide you with any Promotional Code(s) and/or   other information which we believe to be of interest to you.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal data or other personally identifiable information to any third parties for promotional, marketing and advertising purposes.

We provide you with the means to control whether or not your contact information is shared with a registered user or a third party who you wish to invite to become a registered user.


In order to make available the Website for your use as a registered user and for us to supply the Services, we may share information with third parties. For example, to process payments by you of the Charges and other sums, we share some of your information when we direct you to use the RBS Worldpay website or other website designated by us for payment purposes and/or to the extent necessary to take and process any such payment.

We enable you as a registered user in use of the Website and in supply of the Services to share your information and communicate with other registered users or to an extent with third parties who you wish to invite to become registered users.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing by us the Services are online services through use of the Website as a registered user. The main purpose of the Website is that it be used by registered users as an online service dedicated to helping such users more effectively connect with other registered users. The personal data and other personally identifiable information you choose to provide, particularly on the Website, is used to help you describe yourself to such other registered users and is also used by us and third parties with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law. Other information, that is not personal data or does not personally identify you as an individual is supplied or made available by you to be used by us and third parties with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

Unless otherwise stated in the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions:

-                        your personal data and all your other information supplied or made available by you belongs to you;

-                        all information supplied or made available by us or a third party belongs to us or such relevant third party provider; and

-                        all information generated from use of the Website or in supply of the Services

belongs to us or a relevant third party provider (including any generated by any Software, hardware or other equipment or other automated process)

and rights are limited to a non-exclusive licence to use other party or third party information on the basis set out in and subject to and in accordance with the Contract.

 

Communications

We will communicate with you by first class post, facsimile, email or other agreed method of communication. This may include notices posted on the Website or contacting you through other electronic means including text messaging and other forms of messaging. You are responsible for the fees of any third party (including a mobile device provider) unless we have agreed in writing that such fees are included in the Charges payable to us.

Please be aware that you will always receive certain emails from us related to your Account connected to use of the Website and supply of the Services including when another registered user wants to contact you. This may include contact by such user for promotional, marketing and advertising purposes, subject to the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions, and it is a matter for you as to whether you act on any such information or opportunity.

You may also want to contact another registered user for promotional, marketing and advertising purposes, subject to the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions, and it is a matter for such third party as to whether it acts on any such information or opportunity.

We may also contact you for promotional, advertising or marketing purposes but you may withdraw your consent for those purposes either in accordance with the user settings and our guidance on use of the online service or by notice to us to that effect.

 

Customised Content

Information provided to us is also used to customise your experience in use of the Website and supply of the Services. For example, when you sign in to use your Account details of the other registered users who are your connections can be viewed by you on the Website.

 

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We only share your personal data and other information supplied or made available by you with third parties with your consent and as permitted by law.  For example:

-                        We share information with third parties to the extent necessary for your use of the Website and/or the supply of the Services and our communications to you.

-                        We also share information when we direct you to the RBS Worldpay website or other website designated by us for payment purposes and/or to the extent necessary to take and process payment of the Charges and other sums payable.

-                        We also share information to the extent necessary for your use of the Website and/or the supply of the Services.

Such third parties should not retain, share, or store your personal data or other personally identifiable information except to provide these services and in any other case only with your consent or as permitted by law.

The Website offers a registered user the ability in accordance with the Working-Bees Terms and Conditions and subject to the user settings and our guidance confirmed in writing to complete an online profile and thereafter to change it. This will be a public profile to the extent that it is visible on the Website to other registered users and to an extent to third parties on a read only basis. In particular certain parts of the profile, including your name, but usually not your email address will be visible on a read only basis to third parties on the Internet from third party search engine results. You should refer to our user settings and our guidance confirmed in writing as you may be able to opt-out of this feature however we do not warrant how often third party search engines will update their cache.

We may provide aggregated anonymous data about the usage of our services to third parties for such purposes as we deem, in our sole discretion, to be appropriate, including to prospective advertisers on the Website and/or using the Services. We may segment our registered users by skills, industry, geographic location, or other criteria. If you would like to be excluded from the aggregated research or products and/or services based upon aggregated data about our registered users’ activities on the Website, please give notice to us.

 

Communications to other registered users and invites to become registered users

Many emails you initiate through the Website and/or the Services, e.g. an invitation to a third party who is not a registered user, will list your name and email address in the header.

Emails you initiate may also provide aggregate information about your network (for example the number of people who are connections in your network), but will not list the people to whom you are connected unless the recipient is part of your network and then subject to the user settings and our guidance confirmed in writing.

Other communications that you initiate through the Website, like a request for contact, will list your name as the initiator but will not include your personal contact information unless you have included it in the the communication or we have done so with your consent in providing the Services or by law. Subject to that your contact information will only be shared with another registered user if both of you have indicated that you would like to establish contact with each other.

 

Legal Disclaimer

We may need to disclose personal data and other information supplied or made available by you when required by law. This may include compliance with a court order or decision of a competent authority entitled to disclosure or other requests made by law enforcement or other competent authorities entitled to disclosure. We will disclose such information if in good faith we believe that it is necessary to comply with the relevant law (not limited to the applicable law of the Contract) or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

 

Disclosures to others

We may disclose your personal data and other information supplied or made available by you to a third party in connection with any assignment, transfer, charge, sub-contract or other delegation of our rights and obligations under the Contract. This may include in the event of a sale or transfer of our business and/or the assets or the creation of any mortgage, charge or other encumbrance over our business and/or assets or in the event of permitted involvement of a contractor or grant of a sub-licence.


We may disclose your personal data and other information supplied or made available by you to those of our directors, officers, employees and contractors and to such other persons with your consent in each case to the extent they need to know connected to the performance of the Contract or otherwise with your consent for permitted purposes. This includes disclosure to a person who wants to acquire shares in the Supplier or make available credit or funding to the Supplier or who is or becomes a shareholder or creditor of the Supplier and/or to professional advisors and insurers of the Supplier or any registered user or other third party (including any such actual or prospective shareholder or creditor) but we will limit disclosure to the extent such recipients need to know.

We may use any information we collect about you, including any information we may have obtained from your use of the Website and/or the Services, to investigate and resolve grievances or disputes with other registered users or third parties, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems and enforce the Contract and our policies confirmed in writing.

 

3. Your information choices

 
You can in accordance with the Contract:

-Input, change or remove your personal data and other information supplied or made available by you and in particular by you in your online profile on the Website.

-Choose the information you supply or make available and in particular by you in your online profile on the Website and the extent to which that information is visible on the Website.

-Control the messages you receive from us and from other registered users and how these messages are sent using the Website and/or the Services.

-Change your settings to control visibility and accessibility to your personal data and other information supplied or made available by you using the Website and/or Services.

-Give notice to us to cancel or terminate the Contract and close your Account.

 

Accessing your Account and Changing Your Subscription

You must use your e-mail address and password to sign in to use your Account. You can then use the Website and be supplied with Services to which you are entitled. The Website allows you to change certain information including your subscription and payment details.

Please be aware that even after you make a change to your Account and subscription and payment details online using the Website which is processed, we may, for a time, retain residual information in our backup and/or archival copies on our database.

 

Closing Your Account

If the Contract is cancelled or terminated and your Account cancelled, we will remove your name and other personal data or personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable database which is accessible online through use of the Website.

We may retain certain data and other information supplied or made available by you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or to check your eligibility to become a registered user at a later date or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally identifiable data, payment recovery, or otherwise with your consent or if permitted by law.

We may continue to process or otherwise use and disclose certain data and other information supplied or made available by you connected with any such permitted retention referred to above or otherwise with your consent or if permitted by law.

 

Subject as above we will not possess, process or otherwise use and disclosure any personal data or other personally identifiable information supplied or made available by you after cancellation or termination of the Contract and in any event shall comply with our data protection obligations as regards the information retained and used including any update.

 

4. Security measures

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain accuracy of our records and to ensure proper use and protection of your personal data and other personally identifiable information supplied or made available by you on the Website and/or using the Services, we have put in place appropriate technological, security and organisational procedures and measures.

We use the latest 256-bit SSL encryption technology to endeavour to ensure that sensitive data transmitted to and from our server cannot be accessed by external parties. We further encrypt all passwords and other sensitive information such as payment details. Our server is protected by a dedicated firewall and we operate strict internal policies with regard to accessing personal data and other personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data or other information which is transmitted over public or third party networks or accessed by third parties from other websites. You must ensure that your password remains secret and/or is only used as envisaged by the Contract.



5. Access to information

You have legal rights as a data subject under the Data Protection Act 1998 including to request details of your personal data that we store.

Please notify us if you would like to know what personal data or other personally identifiable information we are storing about you as the data subject. We may charge a small fee to cover administrative expenses of providing a copy in an amount confirmed in writing.

We may ask for proof of identity before providing you with any information requested and reserve the right to refuse to provide information if identity is not established to our reasonable satisfaction.  We will only update the information held in accordance with the Contract or as required by law but rely on you to notify changes to us to enable us to do so.
